Hot Tip for Evenly Cooked Juicy Chicken: Turbo Tresser

Turbo Tresser for Chicken

One of my favorite foods to eat is baked or grilled chicken. Because of the affordability of this meat, it is served several times a month at my house. Plus, I often have it available when I create my salads and lunch options.

So for me, having a quick and easy method to make sure I have chicken readily available is a plus.

With the winter months coming up, I probably won’t be grilling as much and using my oven more. Regardless, dealing with a whole chicken sometimes can be a pain because it doesn’t want to cook evenly all the time, other than spatchcock cutting it. So I checked out this new tool that allows you to truss your chicken super quickly so that it helps with the cooking process.

Hot Tip for Evenly Cooked Chicken

The Turbo Trusser for Chicken is a super easy-to-use tool that allows you to hook the wings and pull them forward then hook in the legs so that it cooks the chicken more evenly than it would with it sprawled out. It keeps the meat juicier and we know poultry will dry out quickly.

I was sent one to put it to the test out for you. I found it is quite easy to use once you get the hang of it.

It consists of a small metal plate and two long hooks. The hooks are used to pull the wings in and then you hook the legs around it stabilizing your bird.

It’s pretty cool and it held the chicken the entire time. That’s especially helpful when you have a slow-cooking bird. Especially if you want to smoke it, which I’ve done many times in the past.

The longer it’s in the smoker, the chicken tends to want to fall apart if cooking it as a whole bird. The Turbo Trusser would definitely stabilize the bird and make it easier to handle. Also fabulous for a rotisserie chicken! Keeping the chicken together will help the cooking process which is a must for a rotisserie.

* One thing to note is that since this is metal, you will want to let it cool off for 3 to 5 minutes before you try to remove it from the bird. It will burn you – I can attest to that. LOL.

Perfect for Holiday Feasts!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner as is Christmas which are big turkey days for a lot of people. They also have a Turbo Tresser for Turkey that is so much easier than using twine. Hallelujah! No more rope strings that you missed in your turkey!

This should be the perfect choice if you want to deep fry your turkey too because you definitely can’t use twine in a deep fryer!

You can use the Turkey size one for larger chickens, such as the roasters.

So check it out. The Turbo Tresser is perfect for Grilling, Smoking, Baking, Rotisseries, and more!

You can find them on their website and on Amazon. I think it’s a great tool, that is easy to use. Evenly cooked and juicy results!
