There are some days that I simply do not feel like cooking anything, which is why I always keep certain things on hand ready to go.
Trying to eat high protein all the time calls for staple items, and because of those items, I was able to put together a quick lunch plate today.
Here’s what I ate for lunch today
Quick High Protein Lunch Plate
Ingredients:
- One Single serving container Too Good Cottage Cheese
- Quarter cup frozen blueberries
- Quarter cup of walnuts.
- One Single serving Too Good Yogurt
- Two stocks of celery
- 6 baby carrots
- Quarter cup of jalapeño artichoke dip from Walmart.
This gave me 46 g of protein along with a little fruit, a little nuts for your digestion, and some really good flavor. I do not feel deprived in the least, and I can easily add some protein powder to my yogurt if I want to bump the protein up more.
This lunch is really filling and has everything I need. Some crunch, a little sweetness, a little spice. I’m a happy girl and I didn’t have to cook. Win!

Good morning, Chris.
Best wishes on your weight loss journey.
I’m happy with my weight.
I try to do a detox quarterly.
I live in Southeast Florida, otherwise, I’d call it a change of season detox.
A couple weeks ago I tried Sakara’s Detox2 meal program for 5 days. I found it to be excellent with prepared meals, snacks and supplements that came right to me door (twice for that week).
Also, support was available through their Slack channel online.
All the food was organic, vegan and tasted great. I must say that I was impressed and I lost 3 pounds, which have stayed off.
My goal wasn’t to loose weight, but to cleanse my body of toxins & to feel healthier. I do recommend it. Some people feel it’s costly. I normally cook for myself so I felt the program was reasonably priced and I deserved it.
Anyway, I’m not pushing Sakara, I only wanted to share my experience with you & your readers.
Have a beautiful Wednesday!
Thank you for sharing your results. I have not heard of that brand. I will be sure to check it out. Congrats. I have been looking at detox methods to see if that is something that could be holding me up. Thanks!
