Holy smoking pages, Batman. If ever there was a book that I thoroughly enjoyed reading, it was this one… okay and a few more. But when I picked up the newest release from Kresley Cole, I was hooked! My goodness. This book has it all! I cannot wait to share my thoughts!

My Thoughts on The Master by Kresley Cole:

I love a fun read and from the first page I knew that this was going to be a special book. You get a saucy, sassy, “escort” for a female lead and a smoking hot alpha male that thinks he know what he wants – until Cat shows him otherwise. HA!

This book is full of hotness, from Maks to Cat with a touch of intrigue too! When I received the book, I did not even know it was a part 2 in a series. I got the inkling towards the last part of the book when we are introduced to Maks’ brother. Now that I know there are more than one of these Russian naughty boys out there, I have to pick up the first book, The Professional!

The author is known for her paranormal and historical romance novels and has turned the page into the adult romance genre with this series. The plot is not only interesting but the she has given the characters an deep understanding at how life can be tough. Both of the leads have had tough breaks and knowing loss created a deeper connection for the both of them. This book was not just about s.e.x, but a connection to another that transcends many levels.

While Maks can be a jerk at times and overbearing all the time, Cat understood him on a level no one else could. The author truly created two people that belonged together and reading about that connection in this book is sweet, funny, breath-holding, and totally worth the read!

I loved this book and is has become one of my faves, for certain! Picking up The first installment to catch up and impatiently waiting for the third book – Oh, did I forget to tell you? Maks has a younger brother too! YES!!
