So when this advanced reading copy for this new edition of their Beautiful series showed up, I was thrilled to get a sneak peek!

About:
The seventh work in the New York Times and #1 internationally bestselling series that started with the Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player novels. Featuring all the Beautiful characters…plus one tiny new addition to the group.

In Beautiful Stranger, finance whiz Sara Dillon met the irresistibly sexy Brit, Max Stella, at a New York City club. Through the series we’ve watched them learn to balance commitment with their less than private brand of playfulness. In Beautiful Beloved, Max and Sara take it to the next step. But the question is: Will they be able to find a balance between the wild sexcapades they aren’t ready to retire, and the demands of parenthood that come along with their new Beautiful bundle of joy? Parenthood: it’s not for the weak of heart.

My Thoughts on Beautiful Beloved by Christina Lauren:

This book is only offered in an ebook version or an audio version so far. It is not a long read – it took me about 1.5 hrs or so – but it is a fulfilling read as an aside to the normal full size novels.

This book depicts the struggles new parents have when they are trying to find a balance between parenthood and their own relationship. Max and Sara had a wild intimate life and we are along for the ride in this edition of the series as they try and find time and the right person to watch their darling bundle of joy so they can get back to being a couple again somehow.

What I love about the writing style of this author is you get both points of view. One chapter is from Sara’s POV and the next will be from Max. The whole series is done this way and it really brings you into each character’s head and their relationships with family and friends. I love how open they are about their relationship with their best friends and I wonder if people really are that way. I am not but maybe I would be given the right set of friends.

One thing about this series is there is a lot of sweet romance and steamy scenes. This book is loaded with it so if that bothers you, this is not the book for you. However, it is refreshing to read a story about complete love and acceptance. Max is enamored with is wife and child and is book is a shining example of how we all wish life would be.

For a beautiful escape, grab a copy of Beautiful Beloved and be prepared to fall in love with Max yourself! I need one just like him!
