Who wouldn’t love a hot cowboy and when there are a boat load of them in one book series? Well then, if you are looking for that, this is where you want to start your day. This is book 7 in a series featuring some steamy guys – a whole family’s worth and more. I did check out one of the prior books, Braydon which was book 6, so I was thrilled to get an advanced reading copy for this newest one.

My Thoughts on SAWYER by Nicole Edwards:

You just have to love a bad boy. They can be so endearing! Sawyer is hot. He knows it and the girls all know it. But he only has eyes for one gal and he is trying to figure out how can he win her over, for good. Don’t ask his best friend Grayson. He is not a happy camper about their business or their long time love of women…together. And yes, this is one hot story!

While I have not read the entire series, I was able to flow through this book much easier than I did with the prior book I read, Braydon. It is much easier to start from book 1 in order to get the entire family connections since there are so many characters to follow. I do love the interaction of this large family, the love and support that the author gives this growing clan. Sawyer is the second oldest and one of the last to find his woman. Nicole Edwards gives this man a beautiful heart within that wild, naughty, bad boy exterior.

The heroine, Kennedy, is a cagey one as she has been hurt deeply in the past, by Sawyer and others, and she tries to hang on to those hurts but soon she cracks just like any woman would do with a guy like Sawyer chasing her. Kennedy is strong, loving and deserves her man.

I enjoyed this story and the focus seemed better than that last book where I spent a lot of time trying to keep track of everyone. This story flowed well but the ending what really fast – not like a cliff hanger, but I really would have loved to see more development and closure in the happy times!

The good news is that there is one brother left so hopefully that means another book will soon be on the way in this Alluring Indulgence series. This series is only available in digital format so check it out from your favorite digital retailer.
