Sometimes a title of a book can be the talisman to provoke you into buying or reading a book. Sometimes the title can be a bit off putting and you think you would never read it. The title is a powerful thing and much thought goes into choosing just the right one. The title of this book I was sent to review is one of those titles. Shocking enough for many to say “no way”, but intriguing enough to say, “well, maybe” or “Heck yeah”! No matter your opinion on the title, I do have some words to say about the contents!

My Thoughts on Manwhore by Katy Evans:

Where to start? Where to start? I have read only one other of Katy Evans books and I still remember it well. REAL was her first book and it was awesome! I still remember that book whenever her name comes up. So much talent and that book has taken her so many places in the past few years!!!

This is her newest release and it grabs you from the opening. The storyline is unique and while it is easy to say you enjoyed a book, reality is that this is breathtaking, heart stopping, and emotional all at the same time. While it can be classified as erotica, depending on who reads it, it is romance at its best. Smoking hot in places but oh, so addicting!

The author takes you into the core of the two main characters and you really get to know who they are. There is the usual heart stopping fall out and this book ends on a HUGE Cliffhanger, which about killed me. But honestly, I have to read this again. I was reading so fast, I want to go back and enjoy it again and again so I make sure to pick up every thing and every word.

Parts of this book managed to tick me off and I really wanted to smack Rachel’s girlfriends. This book is full of emotions and I won’t even tell you if I spilled a tear or two.

Honestly, if you love romance and a powerful read by an author who can twist you up, you have to check out Katy Evans. She is an awesome writer and you will fall hard for her characters! Just know cliff hangers SUCK!!!!
