One of the things about changing your eating plan is sometimes you get bored of the same old thing day after day.
I’ve been eating a lot more carnivore/keto lately and there are days when I simply eat just carnivore, meaning just meat with simple seasonings.
The other day I fried up some hamburger and I wanted to switch it up. Sometimes it’s just the same hamburger with cheese, or hamburger crumbled, or hamburger in a patty.

So I was rooting around in my refrigerator and I found my jalapeño artichoke dip that I get from Walmart. I haven’t been eating it a lot because I’ve been eating carnivore and I usually eat the dip with my veggies.
But I was reading the ingredients and aside from a few small additions in terms of stabilizers, there are very few chemicals in this product.
It’s mainly artichokes, jalapeños, sour cream, cream cheese, mayonnaise, and cheese. So I thought I would try it out on my hamburger. Since it has cheese in it, I figured it would get warm and melt a little bit.
Oh my God! It was awesome. I have found a new flavor enhancer that I can use sparingly. I don’t want to get too caught up in it because cheese can be inflammatory.
But honestly, what a game-changer. Even adding just a little bit seriously changes the flavor and the impact of the food.
So I guess what I’m saying today is don’t be afraid to mix up the flavors because sometimes just add something different or strange, like my broccoli with eggs and cheese, lol, it ends up tasting really good!
How adventurous are you with your foods lately?
