Ridiculously Big Salad Ideas

Ridiculously Big Salad Ideas on amidlifewife.com

I have been eating ridiculously big salads with long daily fasting 23/1 for over 6 months now. I’ve had success with the plan formulated by Amanda Rose and I love how it makes me feel.

I’ve had my ups and downs, however. This is not always an easy plan to stick to. But I always come back to my ridiculously big salad if I’ve had made bad choices some days.

Why? Because I know it works!

I just need to get my head straight. I love the food but the mental part is tough. I’m gonna lay it right out there. Some days it’s a real battle only due to me trying to fit it into my hubby’s life too.

But with that, like I said, I always come back to RBS, Ridiculously Big Salad’s. Today, I want to share some more of the salads that I have made over these past months.

I know there are many people who struggle with eating salads every day. I always try to have a lot of variety in my salad choices so that I don’t get bored. It is a healthy way to do longer fasts and keto. Full of fiber, proteins, and loaded with antioxidants!

On one of my posts I listed some of my favorite items to keep on hand and add to my salads. You’ve got to mix it up. One day I may have Romaine, the next day coleslaw, maybe broccoli slaw, or a combination. Sometimes I use the package mixes that are ready to dump in a bowl. I always use my own dressing though.

So with that I wanted to share some images of my salad ideas in hopes that it inspires you. Doing posts like this inspire me to continue on my path. I’m down about 40 pounds as of right now. I know it works. I just need to get that focus right again.

  1. Is there a ration of veggies to meat or a certain size bowl to the big salads? Like how much of each thing or what size bowl do i use?

    1. I use a big serving bowl for the salads. A minimum of 8 oz of meat or combined protein is what I recommend. The lettuce and veggies is whatever you can completely eat to being full. Usually it is about 1/2 head of Iceberg lettuce or 2-3 stalks of Romaine plus your added carrots, celery, etc. If using Coleslaw mix instead of lettuce, use at least 1/2 bag.
