I’ve long been a believer that everything we need for our health is provided for us. Whether it be in nature or in knowledge, there are so many fabulous ways that we can learn to heal ourselves.
I have heard about the Chinese method of healing through movement called Qigong and I was intrigued to learn more. So when I was able to review this new book, I definitely said yes! Here are my thoughts.

This book was very intriguing to me. As a complete novice to this practice it was interesting to me to read and learn how Chinese and master practitioners use body movements and breath to release bad energy and cure ailments.
The knowledge the author shares is in depth and straightforward. He writes in simple to understand language and breaks down the practice into short chapters which are easy to digest and allow you to actually start practicing the methods immediately.
Chris Shelton is a certified practitioner in teacher in Qigong and Chinese medicine. I learned so much about the body and how specific organs can relate to each other to actually control your health.
The movements are very specific to healing and releasing negative energy. He explains each of them in detail so that we can start to learn the movements at home. They are easy to do and very gentle on your body.
Shelton also talks about how each of us are related specifically to the five elements. I always thought I was more water archetype, however reading this book I am definitely more Earth archetype. Your emotional state and even physical attributes can relate specifically to the elements. Your energy levels and health are all related to your body too.
Qigong is a very intriguing concept. With the exercises laid out in the book, we are given the tools that will open the doors to all of the health and wellness we deserve. Everyone who is into natural healing and medicine needs to grab this book.
