Parma! Nutritional Yeast Punch’s Up Your Food Flavor

Parma! Nutritional Yeast and salad

With my ridiculously big salad meal plan I find I do not add too many different items to my meals any more. I rotate many of the same ingredients so I do not get bored and yet get different flavor profiles. That is how I haven’t burnt out on this way of eating.

I do not shy away from many foods other than carbs and I have heard about Nutritional Yeast over the past few years. It is made from an inactive yeast typically found in leaven breads which has the consistency of Parmesan cheese.

Nutritional Yeast is a vegan product that is loaded with nutrients like B12, Niacin, fiber, protein. If offers a nutty cheesy flavor that enhances your foods. I like the idea of packed protein in this product so I was happy to be able to try it out for review and share my thoughts.

Parma! Nutritional Yeast Review

I was sent several flavors of Parma! Nutritional Yeast to try. How could you not like something that is made from yeast, sunflower seeds, walnuts, and hemp seed? Plant based and perfect for keto or paleo plan followers, or people like me who enjoy their veggies and proteins!

So here are some of my thoughts on this product

The Garlicky Green has added pumpkin seed, garlic, sesame seeds, kelp, basil, and oregano. A nice punch of flavor to my salad. The Original Parma! flavor has that Parmesan flavor tasted really good in my salad as well. I can really see this one on pizza!!

I added some Better Than Bacon flavor to my salad the other day with my chicken. I didn’t get the “bacon” flavor as much, but it was tasty. I was also sent a sample of the Chipotle Cayenne flavor and this has like a smoky barbecue taste. I think that would be really good on baked potatoes or something similar, or even on pizza too! Yum!
