My Thoughts About Active-PK for Energy and Fat Burn

My Thoughts About Active-PK for Energy and Fat Burn

product received for review consideration

I’ve been taking supplements for years. I don’t even know when I actively started adding more to my staple diet. I always start with a basic daily supplement then add key items I know I’m lacking.

I like researching specific supplementation, for instance, minerals. Most people are severely lacking in the mineral arena, such as magnesium. That’s a very important mineral that our body needs.

Because of that, I am usually open to checking out different items that can increase my health, well-being, energy levels. Anything that helps me fight the aging process. Especially due to menopause!

My Thoughts About Active-PK for Energy and Fat Burn

My Thoughts About Active-PK for Energy and Fat Burn

I was sent some information regarding an item called Active-PK. This product promotes AMPK activation which is the bodies process of converting nutrients into usable energy. Now that sounded cool.

I was sent some to try out and I was happy to see there’s really three main ingredients.

* LCR Health designed Active-PK with two of the most powerful AMPK-boosting compounds, Berberine and Gynostemma leaf extract, to help reduce belly fat, boost natural energy, and reduce cravings. Active-PK has no caffeine, no synthetic additives, no dairy and is in vegetarian capsules.

* Active-PK also contains Quercetin dihydrate which Healthline.com says, “Quercetin is a plant pigment with potent antioxidant properties. It’s present in many common foods, such as onions, apples, grapes, and berries. It can also be purchased as a dietary supplement for a variety of uses.”

More About the Ingredients:

I did some research on these ingredients, in addition to the Quercetin.

Berberine I know about already because it is excellent for reducing blood sugar. I personally know people who have gone off of Metformin due to using particular types of berberine as a supplement and it greatly improved their blood sugar levels. (Check with your doctor before adding or removing any medicine or supplement to your life!) So I was excited about trying it even though my blood sugar usually runs in the mid to upper 90s. When you eat low-carb, your blood sugar tends to run lower.

Gynostemma is a traditional Chinese herb that “shows some potential for managing diabetes and obesity and reducing stress”, according to verywellhealth.com

Is Active-PK for Weightloss

I was doing some additional research on this product and I saw a lot of information regarding using this product for weight loss. This is not the reason I tried this product. I was more interested in it due to its conversion of fat into usable energy. That makes sense to me.

I have excess fat. I would love excess energy. Pretty simplistic to me…

So what are my results?

I have to say that I’m middle of the road. Maybe I didn’t take it long enough to see substantial changes.

I fast for quite a while every day. My energy level was pretty sustained throughout the day. I had no instances of being exhausted at the end of the day so maybe that means this product was working for me.

There were a few days that I made sure to add a few extra carbs into my diet because my blood sugar dropped to 79. I researched and that is in the normal fasting range so that makes sense. However, it kind of freaked me out because it’s lower than I’ve ever had my blood sugar test. But that’s not to say that was a bad thing.

Since I already have a lot of fat in my belly and body, along with my diet plan, I cannot say definitively whether it was working to help burn off that extra fat or not. I should have thought about measuring for this review.

However, I can say I felt no shakiness, no weird feelings, no interaction issues with anything that I take or have eaten while taking this product. That’s a good thing, at least for me.

Overall, Active-PK for energy and blood sugar reduction seems to be looking good. The fat burn is still getting there for me. I like the fact that this is a pure and simple configuration of ingredients. The only other item they add is a bit of rice flour and two preservative type items.

One Downfall

One downfall is the cost of this product. It’s expensive for one bottle. Almost $90. If you buy in multiples, they give a discount. But they do have a great moneyback guarantee if you find the product does not work for you.

I am going to continue to take the rest of the product that they sent me for review and if anything changes, I’ll do an update. But for now I’m happy with the blood sugar results and sustained energy. Now I’m just waiting for that fat to melt off. Just kidding! NO, not really! I really am wishing for that miracle. LoL
