When it comes to festive occasions like birthdays, holidays, and special events like Super Bowl weekend, we sometimes blow our eating plans by falling back on our un-healthy, but oh, so tasty family favorites. Guacamole and chips, sauce laden Wings, spinach dip and sourdough bread – the list goes on.
We love our appetizers! But they don’t love us, sadly.
Trying to stick to the low carb lifestyle and still enjoy some delicious foods can be tough, especially when you are feeding a crowd. My solution is to make a selection of low carb snacks along with some of the traditional favorites.
So this Sunday, I am making some of my Ham, Cheese and Pickle Rollups that are a breeze to make and so tasty too. Everyone loves these.
I am also making several of my personal size Low Carb Pizza’s on carb friendly tortillas. They are delicious and come out crispy and full of flavor!
My easy to make Grilled Chicken Thighs are also on the menu, with a side of BBQ sauce for those that like it and plain for those that want the low carb version. So moist and delicious!
Another family favorite and a recipe that I love is my Corn Bean Salsa. This recipe I have not shared yet and will do so this week -> here it is. It is a great side dish or you can use it for a dip. So good!
Have a fun time at your Super Bowl party!
