Colton Storm Watch by Amber Leigh Williams: Review

cover of Colton Storm Watch by Amber Leigh Williams

Do you know what I love about Harlequin stories? The fact that they’re just a quick, easy read that doesn’t take up a lot of mental capacity.

Sometimes we just need a great story as a cushion between bigger novels. Or something light after you finish another heavy book.

I also love that they categorize the story, and it shows right on the cover what kind of book it is. I wish more publishers did that.

Here is an upcoming book with a nice romantic suspense angle that also gives us a best friend romance. Read my thoughts below.

Colton Storm Watch by Amber Leigh Williams Review

I love a good friends-to-lovers trope. It’s also a great tool to use in romantic suspense stories.

This book had all of the qualities we were looking for in a romantic suspense. A strong female character and her best friend team up to figure out who’s breaking into her art gallery, and the bigger question is why.

The author brings a solid story with light suspense, but interesting twists. You know who the culprit is, but you don’t necessarily know why, which does bring that interest into play.

The romance is light and cozy. They have a great relationship, although Nick does pull some questionable antics regarding the burglar. But she’s not perfect in all of this either.

Colton Storm Watch is a light and easy read that’s entertaining and a good choice for a pick-me-up! Williams always tells an engaging story!
