Low Carb Late Season Fruit Salad Recipe

Eating low carb does have its restraints. For instance, fruit can be eaten only in moderation, and often it is eaten at certain times of the day.

The sugar contained in fruit can be tough for someone on a low-carb diet, but once you know how to adjust for it, then you can enjoy it once in a while. Plus, the fiber in fruits is good for you.

In the late or off-season, you can still enjoy some delicious fruits by whipping up an easy to prepare fruit salad and enjoying it in place of other carbs. Personally, I don’t mix carbs and proteins at the same meal. So if you want to enjoy a fruit salad, add it alongside a green salad, plain yogurt, or by itself.

Just because you are eating low carb doesn’t mean you cannot enjoy fruit now and then. Know which fruits offer the lowest carb count and use those. The fruits offered here are lower in carbs than other fruits and are off or late-season fruits too.
