Wedding from Hell, Part 1 by J. R. Ward - A Midlife Wife

I am signed up to read and review a new release coming up in the next few months by J.R. Ward called Consumed. So when I saw that there is a pre-quel to the story that introduces the main characters, I thought it would be a kick to warm up to the new release.

Featuring hot firefighters, I am all in. Here are my thoughts on this steamy lovely!

The Wedding From Hell, Part 1: The Rehearsal Dinner: It’s a classic recipe for disaster: Take one bridesmaid who thinks pink is the root of all evil, mix with a best man who’s hotter than a four-alarm fire, add in their explosive sexual attraction, a nightmare bridezilla, two cat fights, and an emergency call, and you have the wedding from hell.

Experience the sizzling start of Anne and Danny’s intense relationship. Is this the start of something good…or just an erotic one-night stand that rocks their world, but must never be repeated?

With a title like Wedding from Hell, you know this is going to be a book that you just have to check out. Broken into three parts, these quick novellas are perfect for a break in your monotonous day.

Part One: The Rehearsal is a riot. You can already tell that the steam and energy between these two is going to be a blockbuster. The electricity and lustful feelings are there and ramping up quickly. Why is she killing us by breaking it into parts?? Hell with anticipation, I say! LOL

I’ve read several books now by J.R. Ward and I just love her writing skills. Plus, with this being about firefighters, I sure hope she dives into the fire and brings us the heat in the rest of the novellas.

I can’t wait to dive into book 2! And then after book 3, we will be ready for Consumed! Cannot wait!
