Tracker’s End by Chantal Fernando

A funny thing happens when you pick up a book that you are just not sure you are going to enjoy. You basically have a 50-50 chance that you will enjoy it or not. The only thing you really know is the short description that accompanies it. This book offers a very short synopsis that really tells you nothing. So I headed into this read for review very unsure of the outcome. I was pleasantly surprised, however. And that is a good thing.

Tracker’s End by Chantal Fernando
Series: Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club (Book 3)
Publisher: Gallery Books (August 11, 2015)
ISBN-13: 978-1501106217

The third in a sexy romance series from the bestselling author of Saxon and Toxic Girl about the bad boys of the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club and the women who fall in love with them.

Tracker is everything I’ve ever wanted.

I see him. I’ve watched time change him.

I’ve been patient, but he still hasn’t noticed me. Not the way I want him to. The more time I spend with the MC, the more I understand.

When you want something, you have to take it. You have to fight for it.

And Tracker is more than worth fighting for…

My Thoughts:

I think I have only read one or two books that have plots based in a motorcycle club. They were a bit hardcore and while the romance factor was great, the surrounding storyline was intense in several situations. So when I received this book, I was thinking of those other books as a comparison and I am happy to find, there was no comparison.

This author has taken one motorcycle club and is creating a book for each of the main players. This was the first book I have read and even though it is the third in the series, I did not feel lost. Would it have been better to start from the beginning of the series? Probably, but I was enjoyed it thoroughly.

What I liked the most about this book is that the main plot did not revolve around wild parties, crazy antics, or violence within the club. This book was about the relationship between Tracker and his love for a girl. He knew he was all in. It was getting the girl to realize it.

This is a beautiful story that is well written, offers plenty of interesting twists and turns, and keeps the interest all the way through. I loved parts of the story and hated one important part, but overall the author creates loving characters that will tug on your heartstrings. Tracker is so sweet for a badass and found someone perfect for him. Just thinking about him while writing this makes me smile.

This is the first time I have read anything by this author and I have to say I am looking forward to continuing with this series although it may take quite a bit to get over this one. Tracker has make an impression on me.
