I love a good anthology, also known as a collection of short stories. They are perfect for a quick break when you just need to escape for an hour. They’re also wonderful in between longer books to refresh before diving into a longer novel.

When it comes to Christmas romance, an anthology is a great way to get in all of the love stories that you can. This new collection will be available for your Christmas enjoyment. Check out my thoughts below.

OVERVIEW:
The Twelve Loves of Christmas is a swoon-worthy short story collection about finding love during the most magical time of the year. Including a playful forced proximity romance featuring a woman and her older brother’s grinchy (yet unexpectedly endearing) best friend, a tender love story of two neighbors who decide to skip Christmas together, a second-chance spark reignited between exes stranded at the airport, and many more festive love stories, there’s a little holiday magic waiting for every reader.

Open one sealed story each day in the lead-up to Christmas to unwrap a season full of love, warmth, and happily-ever-afters.

The Twelve Loves of Christmas by Alexandria Bellefleur Review

I was not familiar with the author of most of the stories in this collection. A few of the names I did recognize and have read before. But what a great way to discover some new names.

I had mixed feelings about this collection. Some of the stories were great, and I really wished they were a full-length book.

A few of the stories I found lacking in depth and detail to really connect with me. A few of the books did have some spice and heat, but most of the stories were clean romances.

What’s also nice is that this is a big collection of different types of romance. It was not all the same, and that’s the beauty of an anthology like this one. Aside from being Christmas romance stories, each one was unique.

Overall, it’s a decent collection. The stories I did enjoy the most definitely outweigh the ones that were not my favorite. But anyway you look at it, a collection like this is fun for a quick break and enjoyment of the read.
