Stolen Lust by Charmaine Pauls: Review

Stolen Lust by Charmaine Pauls cover

There come authors that write in such a manner you seriously wish you were involved in the story. They just get into the nitty-gritty emotions and simmering heat that doesn’t give up.

This author is one of those that combines the edgy, dark, taboo topics with that simmering lasting feelings. If this sounds like something you’ve been looking for, this is the author and this is the story.

ABOUT:
Ian Hart is the most notorious criminal in the country. Like the thief he is, he came in the dark and stole a night of my life.

He left me with souvenirs. Disaster and fear are my new realities. I’ll forever look over my shoulder, terrified he’d return, because when he took me, he stole more than just a few hours of my time.

His crime has consequences neither of us could’ve imagined. If I’m to escape the nightmare of my life, I have to outsmart him. If I’m to survive, I have to outwit every enemy he’s turned against me, including Ian himself, the most dangerous and cleverest man I know.

*Stolen Lust is Book 1 of the Beauty in the Stolen trilogy. Book 2 will be released on 18 May 2021 and Book 3 on 22 June 2021.

Stolen Lust by Charmaine Pauls Review:

I’ve read and reviewed many of Paul’s books now and while similar in the general theme, she always finds a way to make them unique and stand out.

I think Ian is one of my favorite characters of hers and I am so frustrated that this is a series! I am having difficulty waiting for the next two books.

The story is steamy and lusty. It is full of that hot erotic emotion that is so difficult to capture in a story.

He is not a good character in that he is a criminal. This is a story of crime, triggers, intimidation, kidnapping, and other dark factors.

But it’s also a story of care, concern, lust, protection, and more as we build the story. It’s a complex mixture of deep emotions and simmering heat underneath it all.

Paul’s continually manages to blow me away with her unique stories and inventive character development. Like I said, this is part one of a three-part story but I know it’s going to be so worth the wait.

5 STARS!
