When I was growing up, I was addicted to apples. I ate apples every day and one of my favorite desserts was this Applesauce Bread. It is moist and so delicious. I think you will enjoy it.

Spiced Applesauce Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups Applesauce
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 cup Oil
3 TBSP Milk
2 Cups Flour – sifted
1 TSP baking soda
1/2 TSP baking powder
1/2 TSP Cinnamon + 1/2 TSP
1/4 TSP Salt
1/4 TSP Nutmeg
1/4 TSP Allspice
1/2 cup Pecan – Chopped
1/4 cup Pecans – whole
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
Directions:
- Combine applesauce, sugar, oil, eggs, and milk in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, sift together Flour, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, 1/2 tsp Cinnamon, salt, nutmeg, and allspice. Stir into the applesauce mixture and beat well.
- Fold in the chopped pecans. Turn into a well-greased bread or loaf pan.
- Combine the whole pecans, brown sugar, and an additional 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and sprinkle it over the batter.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Remove from the pan to cool.
