I’m not sure how many books I’ve read by this author but every time I have a chance to review one, I’m all over it. She just has amazing talent and is a gifted storyteller.
In this new release, she takes a familiar trope but moves it up several notches to make it an outstanding story. Read on for my review.

I’ve read so many “mafia romances“ over the years. Some good. Some not so good. I probably would not have read this one, however I knew being it being from Geissinger, it was going to be great.
And I was not mistaken!
From the beginning we are treated to a story that is snappy, snarky, humorous, and wonderfully entertaining. And then HE comes along and we are immediately treated to raging heat and fire. This is no ordinary mafia style romance! Damn, he is hot!
Geissinger ramps the story up with powerful emotion and heat but also a truly believable romance for someone in his position. She adds twists that are a bit unexpected and even throws in a baby cliffy at the end to bridge to the next story. GAH! But relax! We still get the full story right here!
I love everything about Ruthless Creatures. The fun, humor, intensity, bits of shock, suspense, with the awesome steam and spice she writes so damn well, ratchets this one right up to the top of the charts. I cannot get enough of her books! This is how you write Mafia Romance!
