When eating low carb and juicing, you soon learn that you can eat and enjoy any types of food any time of the day, I have been known to eat a burger for breakfast and enjoying eggs is anytime for this house. We are not regulated to eating morning foods for breakfast only!!
So when I say I enjoy greens for breakfast, I sometimes get weird looks! I love to blend fresh green juice for a pick me up in the afternoon and in the morning, adding some amazing fresh oranges to the mix is so delicious. With spinach being so mild, you can barely taste the green… Although I do add in kale when I have it on hand for a bit more nutrients. But that is up to you.
So here is my morning energizer that you may want to try.
Morning Fresh Juice Blend Recipe
Ingredients:
Handful of Kale
Handful of Spinach
1/3 cucumber
1 stalk Celery
4 baby carrots
1 fresh Orange
1/2 cup fresh Orange Juice
Filtered Water to blend
Directions:
In a Nutribullet or similar appliance, add in all items and blend until you reach your desired consistency. Enjoy!
