We eat a lot of chicken here in this house. For one reason it is relatively inexpensive. And for another, it is low in fat as compared to other options of meats. One of the best gifts we ever received was a counter top rotisserie that will hold up to a 14 pound turkey, which was fabulous, BTW. It comes with a rotating spit, a basket for veggies or other smaller meats, and it makes the moistest and most juicy meats ever!
As you know chicken breasts can become dry if overcooked. This unit is the best for making chicken breasts. I love to season them with different flavors and cook them ahead for my meal prep during the week. That way I know I have my protein ready for lunch and dinner and I get a choice of different flavors.
Here are a few of my different choices I have used. I mix and match them as I prepare them for cooking.
Lawrys Season Salt
Pepper
Poultry Seasoning
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
BBQ Seasoning
Lemon Pepper
Have you ever used a rotisserie? what is your favorite way to use it?
