We are excited to announce a new addition to the house. Meet Mela, a 3 year old German Shepard. She has had a long journey to come to our home. From shelters to adoptions that did not work and re-homing a few times, we welcomed her into our home a month ago today.
It is not without trials and tribulations however. With a home that already has Louie, the pitbull – who is not overly amused but working on acceptance, to 2 cranky cats who tend to rule the roost, Mela is working on finding her place and learning to leave a wide berth around the cats.
She is a delightful, sweet girl who is an excellent protector and is a wonderful addition to the family. Oh, plus she is definitely a momma’s girl! I am happy about that!
So look for some more to come from Mela and the family! Always fun times in our home!
