Huge Error in My Whole Food No Meat Eating Plan

Sometimes it’s hard to remember that you’re doing good things for your body even if you don’t see the results.

Yesterday I made a huge tactical error in my whole food no meat eating plan. This has been a struggle because no one else in my family is eating this way.

So when we were out running errands yesterday, my husband and I needed to get some food. Being in a hurry, of course we went to a fast food place.

I’m usually pretty good at picking something that won’t upset my stomach or completely throw me off plan. But yesterday I did not do that.

I chose the worst thing on the menu because it sounded really good. An all beef hot dog with sauerkraut. And trust me it tasted pretty good until about 15 to 20 minutes later.

For the next four hours my stomach hurt so bad. It was swollen and hard and I was just miserable. And I kept saying to myself, ‘what in the hell were you thinking?’

I also said, ‘that’ll teach you!’ I immediately got back on the wagon with my next meal. But I certainly learned my lesson.

Sometimes we don’t see the results in the mirror and maybe that sinks in our head that we’re really not doing anything good to our body.

But that thinking is flawed. The wrong food can completely mess you up and remind you very quickly but eating whole foods is very important to your body.

And guess what? Your body appreciates it too.

I’m moving forward by not letting this derail me but definitely show me I’m on the right path.
