There is a new book being released today that I was fortunate enough to read for review. This author is a first time read for me and even though this is a book 2 in a series, I did not have a terrible time following and enjoying the story.

There’s something about an alpha hero with that little bit of dark edge to him. That intensity and all consuming heat was perfectly developed in this delicious character.
Kir is a complete take control kinda guy and is making sure Cassie doesn’t slip away again. When trouble comes to her door, he finds the perfect opportunity to make sure that he’s the only one protecting her.
The author brings a steamy story of the one who got away and the hot ass gentleman who turns up her heat index. But is he really who he says he is? Or are the rumors right about his family?
Great story, complex characters, and a perfect ending makes this one to grab!
