Hello Stranger by Katherine Center book cover

Sometimes an author sneaks up on you and delivers a story that really catches you off guard. This release is one of those books.

This is the first time I’ve read this author, and I have to say the story is highly imaginative and truly an addicting read. I could not put it down and read it in one afternoon! Here are my thoughts on this new release.

OVERVIEW:
Love isn’t blind, it’s just a little blurry.

Sadie Montgomery never saw what was coming . . . Literally! One minute she’s celebrating the biggest achievement of her life―placing as a finalist in the North American Portrait Society competition―the next she’s lying in a hospital bed diagnosed with a “probably temporary” condition known as face blindness. She can see, but every face she looks at is now a jumbled puzzle of disconnected features. Imagine trying to read a book upside down and in another language. This is Sadie’s new reality.

But, as she struggles to cope, hang on to her artistic dream, work through major family issues, and take care of her beloved dog, Peanut, she falls in love―not with one man but two. The timing couldn’t be worse.

Making judgment calls on anything right now is a nightmare. If only her life were a little more in focus, Sadie might be able to have it all.

Hello Stranger by Katherine Center Review

I’m not sure if I can even come up with the words to describe this one but here we go.

The author has created such an intriguing story that I continued to read it for hours on end. She gives us a medical mystery of sorts that incorporates the changes and impact in someone’s life, along with the ability to compensate for that change.

This story is a combination of humor, stress, emotion, friendship, strong ties, and romance. It’s surprising in so many ways and the wonderful twist at the end simply makes it that much better.

Center’s ability to write a story that just captures your heart and soul is truly magnificent. You know when you continue to think about a book after you’ve closed the cover you have a true winner on your hands. Something has gotten down deep in your soul and has made an impact on you. That is how you know a truly creative writer and beautiful storyteller and this one has it!

While this is the first story I’ve read by this author I am intrigued enough to search out additional books by her. I love the way she captures life details, emotions, and relationships with others that take you along for the ride. I adore the way she writes a romance that is so unexpected and yet complex in many ways.

Hello Stranger truly is a unique work of art, an insightful, delightful romance with a twist! I highly recommend you check it out.

5 STARS!
