I have to say I am not the healthiest person when it comes to food or managing my food addiction, but I do recognize how food was killing me and have made huge steps to regain control through healthy choices.
Seven, almost eight years ago I could barely move and was eating very poorly. I was addicted to crap food and my body showed it. I cleaned up my act and started juicing, standing while working, and working out slowly. I am still a work in progress, backstepping often, but never far off of my low-carb, high-protein diet.
But through all of this, I never tried to add poison directly into my body. I realize now how much food was the culprit, but also how products we use can be an issue as well.
Fast forward those ignorant years, and we are now in a time where more and more people are waking up to realize corporations are putting out products with no regard for how it will affect us and our health over the long term. I have always questioned products like the ones depicted in this image.
Are the companies supporting or teaching healthy living or selling lies?
Healthy Living or Selling Lies
Make it make sense because it does not to me.
Who would want to cook in plastic? Plastic melts in heat! Why are we given the option to cook in plastic? Gag
I have to say the same for silicone. Even food-grade silicone releases particles of god knows what chemicals into our body. Why are we baking and heating up these products at high heat?
Aluminum Foil is another bad actor. Sure, it may be fine for covering foods and cooling, but cooking in it is another story! Those oils used when creating the thin foil sheets are cooking into our foods along with the aluminum which is so bad for our body!
Chemicals are killing us slowly. Make it make sense why companies are seemingly only in it for the money.
Ultimately, it is up to us to recognize and research questionable items. Have you thought about this? Share your insights!
