I have been talking about how badly I needed to get out of town and I finally did it. This past weekend my hubby and I headed west, intending to go to Monterey. However. once we got the the highway over there, the road was like a parking lot.
So we headed north. We ended up at a small beach in Aptos that we used to visit often when we would go camping years ago. Then we grabbed a pizza and went to another beach.
It was a perfect day. The sun was warm. Skies were clear, but the wind was a tad cool. Just amazing and I loved spending time there clearing the cobwebs away!
