Easy Grilled Steak Marinade Recipe - A Midlife Wife

One of the best things about eating low-carb is the fact I get to enjoy steaks on a regular basis. I used to not be a fan of marinades too much because I enjoy the taste of the meat so I always try to keep it simple with my seasonings.

However, I picked up these steaks that are a little bit cheaper cut and they really need to be able to marinade for a bit to loosen up. So I whipped up a really quick and easy marinade using just the things I had in my cupboard and the results were delicious.

Here is the recipe I used and created for this flavorful marinade. Perfect for grilling out this weekend and great for beef steaks or pork steaks.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup of soy sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
1 Tablespoon of crushed garlic
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
1/2 teaspoon granulated onion
1 tablespoon Worchestershire sauce

Directions:
In a small bowl mix all the ingredients to gather. Then in a large zip plastic bag put your meat inside and pour the marinade over the meat. Zip the top closed and make sure to work in the marinade so it reaches all of the steak. Place it in the refrigerator for several hours or up to 24 hours.

When you’re ready to grill remove the meat from the refrigerator and allow it to sit for 15 minutes before grilling.

You can double this recipe if you’re feeding three or more people. I made this recipe for three steaks and it was just enough.

Hope you enjoy it!
