I have a secret to admit. Well, actually two of them.

The first one is I am definitely a wimp when it comes to coffee. I love the flavor of it but I don’t like it to be overwhelming and strong. I love it to be beautifully delicate and not bitter.

The second secret is I’m not a huge fan of K cups. Especially when the machine is located somewhere I may not have been frequently or I don’t know how well the owner takes care of the machine. I’m a little nervous about making any kind of beverage from water that has been sitting.

That might be a little obsessive but even in my own house I empty my kettle and put in fresh water every time I use it.

And yes, I said kettle. I love my electric kettle and really wouldn’t be without it. And what does that have to do with anything you ask?

It’s all about the coffee. I get it. French presses are supposedly the end all be all or maybe the pour-over is perfect way you enjoy your coffee.

However, I have to tell you about Steeped Coffee.

Steeped Coffee basically single serve coffee bags that are 100% artisan roasted and 100% stainable.

These coffee packs are pre-portioned ground and nitro sealed for freshness. The packaging is completely compostable, and guess what, it’s delicious.

These come in a little pouch similar to a tea pouch but you can choose the blend from light to medium, dark French Roast, and decaf. I love the fact that I can stick these in my bag and have it anytime I want.

Have you ever been to a restaurant and you were just dying for a cup of coffee after your meal and it was just overly strong and disgusting? Well, I have. Now here’s the perfect way to bring your own and just ask for hot water.

I love the ability to make it however I choose, quick and easy, like in the image below- adding my heavy cream and vanilla extract. Mmmmm – Plus, you can do a cold brew if you like as well. This is actually very cool.

When you go over to the Steeped Coffee site you can find different types of gift kits, starter kits, and choose your favorite blend or get a variety pack so you can find your perfect blend. You can set up subscriptions as well for a set it and forget it delivery.
