Better Later Than Never:
It’s been a long hot summer mainly because my pool has been out of commission for most of it. I am happy to say that we finally got it back under control and I was able to get in and do my work out this week. Thank you, Jesus!
I can honestly say that it felt amazing and I’ve missed working out in the pool so much. I could live in there some days!!
Water Aerobics Is Perfect For All Adults
There’s so many reasons that I like the pool for my workouts. It’s very gentle on the joints. I can run, hop around, do squats and jumps, all without feeling like I’m hurting myself. Yet I am burning calories and tightening muscles like mad.
On the first night I only managed 60 minutes because it was almost dark by the time I got in there. So I was getting a little chilly.
However, I was able to get in a pretty good workout. I was afraid the next day I would be super sore, but not one thing bothered me. I was pretty amazed that my body and the muscle memory got me right back into the swing of it.
My pool is my friend. I know when I get in it I can get a good workout and good cardio too. It’s easy on the joints and perfect for anyone of any age. Especially if you haven’t worked out in years or months. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in that category.
