I love some spicy foods and one of my favorite things to make every once in a while is a big pot of chili. My family is not overly fond of chili for the most part, so when I make it, I make it just the way I like it – with beans and meat and lots of flavor.
This recipe can be made within 30 minutes or less by using this shortcut and the results are a delicious pot of healthy goodness that you can enjoy any time.
Easy 30 Minute or Less Chili Recipe
Ingredients:
One and a half pounds ground beef
Two 15oz cans chili beans in sauce
One package chili mix – Lawrys is my fav
One can tomato sauce
3/4 of a can water
Directions
Brown your beef and drain after it’s completed. Return the pot and add in your chili beans, chili mix, tomato sauce, and water. Mix very well and allow to simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
Enjoy over rice or with cornbread or whatever you enjoy. If you are eating low-carb, you can leave out the beans or cut them down to 1 can. I enjoy using the beans for the fiber and take into account the carbs for my daily intake.
