When you are eating low carb sometimes you just need to crunch. Other than iceberg lettuce or carrots, getting that crunch in can be tough.

Maybe you are craving bread for a delicious open-face sandwich once in a while.

These are two examples of the things that can throw you into the carb zone and you can watch your healthy eating efforts trickle down the tubes super quickly!

I was at Grocery Outlet in California the other day browsing for some fun and interesting foods and I found this interesting product that I thought I would check out!

Sigdal Bakery is a Norwegian brand of Crispbread that is low-carb and loaded with fiber. In fact, all of the seeds and carbs used in the product contain enough fiber that this product is a net 9 grams of Carbohydrates! That is tough to find! :

What does that mean? See the label below

This product contains 12 grams of carbs per slice. The fiber amounts to 3 grams, so the net would be 9 grams.

I like that the main ingredients are seeds and while there is some flour, it is whole grain. Basically, this product is more like a cracker than bread.

It is crunchy and tastes pretty good. I used a yummy veggie cheese spread to go along with my salad the other day. I have been enjoying this a few times a week for that added crunch and taste difference I need sometimes.

I was at the store again the other day and they have a pumpkin seed one too. I did not try that one, but it is something that I wanted to share with you.

I also enjoy Wasa Crispbread in the Light Rye sometimes which contains net 7 gr of carbs, an even better choice in terms of carbs, but not in terms of the variety of seeds and ingredients. The Wasa I use is made simply with whole rye flour and salt.

So if you are looking for something different to get some crunch by staying as low carb as possible without added chemicals or preservatives, check out these options!
