There’s been several times in my adult life that I have embraced the no meat, vegetarian, or Plant-based eating method. The last time I did it was just a few years ago.
I usually have pretty decent results when I do that method. But one of the things that is a little difficult is to make sure that you are getting all of the vitamins and minerals that you need to ensure your body is healthy.
When you eat meat you can ensure that you’re getting additional nutrients such as Iron, Magnesium, and even Vitamin B12. When you eat plant-based mainly you have to really research your veggies and nuts to ensure that you are including the correct ones to balance your nutrition.
I’ve always been a fan of supplementation. Years ago someone told me that it’s not about what you eat on a daily basis but what you eat on a weekly basis so we don’t really need to obsess on a daily basis about supplementation, nutritional needs, etc. That to me was a game changer.
Supplements for a Plant Based Lifestyle
With so many people choosing more plant-based meals and going back to basics, away from processed foods, this is a very important topic. Now there is a company that is making a supplement specifically for those on a plant-based diet. I absolutely love this idea and have often thought of it.
The company sent me their PhytoLife Balance Multivitamin to try and I feel these are a terrific choice. First, their packaging is right on. Two different tablets are packaged in a daily pack. Even labeled so you don’t forget if you took it or not.
Theralogix focused on specifically the minerals that can be very difficult to get enough of through a plant-based diet. So in the supplement, you will find Vitamin D, B12, Iron, Magnesium, Calcium, Iodine, Vitamin K, and Zinc. This is a perfect blend and most of these are items I supplement on a regular basis through individual pills. Having them all in one blister pack makes it so easy.
Vitamins and minerals are a huge part of our nutrition obviously. I know many people who do not supplement and I personally don’t really get it. Most of us know that the nutritional value in our foods is declining at a rapid rate. The processes strip the food which is why people are going back to raw and minimally processed items as much as possible.
PhytoLife Balance Multivitamin from Theralogix makes it super simple for you to get key items into your body, not forget them, and help you feel better every day.
Definitely check these out because they’re seriously making it easy for us!! Plus, they have a huge selection of supplements for your health and wellness!
