It’s been exactly a week since I started my detox using the Dr. Miller‘s Holy Tea. I wanted to give you a quick update on what’s been happening with it.
January Detox Progress Using Holy Tea
I started off with drinking at the recommended two 8 ounce glasses each day. The flavor is extremely mild and really tastes just like a refreshing tea. I know some people enjoy putting oranges or mango in it, but I haven’t found the need to add any fruit at this time.
The first few days I really didn’t notice any changes. By day three I was starting to eliminate a little bit more and could really tell the sludgy bloating feeling was starting to go away.
I weighed myself yesterday and without changing anything, plus having two pieces of pizza the night before, I was down a half a pound. I guess not bad for not changing anything.
I decided to change it up this week and I am increasing my consumption to three 8 ounce cups a day and seeing where that takes me.
The one thing that I really like about this tea is I’m just adding goodness into my body. I’m not really doing anything else at this point. I don’t feel different; like some teas may make you jittery or make you feel weird in someway.
With the Dr. Miller’s Holy Tea you can just feel your guts start to release on a more regular basis and that’s a great thing. It’s not an immediate thing like with some teas I’ve tried that have you running for the bathroom. That’s a huge plus.
I also love the fact that I can actually eat some carbs and not feel bloated. My stomach doesn’t swell up like it usually does.
Now that I am doing the 3 cups a day, I am going to also start reducing my carbs and getting back into my ultra low carb diet that I used to follow. I have been lax through the holidays so it’s time.
So there you have it half pound with no changes at all. I’m pretty excited about that. Looking forward to next weeks weigh in.
