It’s hard to believe how fast this year is gone. It seems like just a few weeks ago it was last Christmas LOL. I know that has nothing to do with age. Yes, I’m trying to convince myself.
I was looking back at what kind of healthy progress I’ve made this year and I can honestly say none. I feel like I have regressed.
I can say for the most part I try not to give up. Some people make new year resolutions or commitments to bring in the new year. I don’t usually do that because I feel like I can start any kind of change anytime I need to.
However, this year I think I’m going to hop on the bandwagon and try to revisit my why and seriously start exercising and moving more again.
Healthy Resolutions for the New Year
Several years ago when I first started this site one of the first things that I did was to use a standing desk. It was one of the catalysts to moving more and starting to work out on a consistent basis. I still use my standing desk from time to time, but not as much as I should. So that’s where I’m going to start again.
I still have my notebook where I wrote down my 30 days of positive reinforcement and self “I AM” talk. That too was very inspiring and really helped me stay on track. I encouraged myself to keep moving, keep working out, and it worked.
So this year for my “resolution“ I’m going to restart for the 90th time and maybe this time it will stick. Who knows?
My eating plan is going to be The Code Red Revolution by Cristy Nickel, which I reviewed last year, I believe. Why this eating plan? It’s easy. It’s smart. And I think it will work. I pray it will work.
Do you have anything you need to work on? What are your health related changes going to be this coming year?
