It’s hard to believe how fast this year is going, let alone the fact that it’s already July! Summer is flying.
With that in mind, the Fourth of July kind of snuck up on me. Normally we have some sort of celebration but because it’s in the middle of the week this year, and I have to work on the fifth, no big celebration for me.
Our town is a midsize town of about 27,000 people, and on the Fourth of July we have thousands of people that come into town for our all day celebration and huge fireworks display. So this year in lew of my own celebration, I’m heading downtown to enjoy the festivities. The committee always does a wonderful job.
