If you haven’t heard of Eddie Flynn, then you’re missing an amazing character in a series developed by Steve Cavanaugh.

Legal thriller and murder mystery combined, the stories are definitely a work of art. I haven’t read all of them; in fact, this is only my second one! However, this new release is such an addictive read. It was so hard to put down!

You’ve got to check this one out. Read my complete review below.

OVERVIEW:
One offers a helping hand. The other is your worst nightmare…

Social media influencer, Elly Parker, had the perfect life, that is until she discovered her husband had been having an affair with her best friend.

But as hurt, betrayed, unmoored as Elly is, she has made it her mission to help others in need. Even strangers.

When Elly meets a man on the steps to the subway platform, crutches in one hand and a yellow suitcase by his feet, she can’t help but feel sorry for him.

Just as he planned.

This small act of kindness sets off a change of events more terrifying than anything she ever could imagine.

To survive, Elly will need to convince the world what happened to her was real. She needs a lawyer who can bend the rules to find the truth. Eddie Flynn and his team must find the stranger with the yellow suitcase. But little do they know this cunning killer is a master manipulator and is always one step ahead.

Two Kinds of Stranger by Steve Cavanagh Review

It is a rare author who can grab you from the opening paragraphs and take over your world for the length of a book. And, if they are really a special writer, linger in your thoughts long after the book is completed.

This is exactly the type of writer Cavanagh is. I have not read many of his books, but the ones I have completed have stuck with me long after completion and become a comparison of other books in the genre. I am dying here waiting for his TV or movie deal!

This story hits hard with a social media influencer at the top of her career, implicated by a stranger and accused of murder. What’s to come is a twisted game of hatred and manipulation that sickens you as you read.

How can this happen? Reality hits hard as the tables are turned and twisted against her. Hiring Eddie and his team was her only hope.

But there is more to this story. A running side plot that takes Eddie’s focus. Plus, we know who the killer is, and we are alongside his life as we try to figure out the whys and hope for the salvation of all included in these sick games.

Two Kinds of Stranger is written with perfect pacing and unthinkable twists. Eddie and his con-man skills are in high gear, and the imagination is at full tilt. Two court cases are coming together at the same time. The balancing act is awesome.

Cavanagh knows how to create ingenious plots that captivate and consume the reader! The ending is amazing and rich! Cannot get enough.

5 STARS!
