This Summer Will Be Different by Carley Fortune: Review

There are a few books that swept me away and made me realize that I’m in love with a romance so deep it leaves me breathless. I have to say that this author has captured that perfectly in this upcoming release.

This is the first time I’ve read this author, however, this is definitely not the last book of hers that I read. Continue on for my full review.

There are so many books out there that I have read that capture the romance of another country, specifically, Italy. That seems to be a popular destination for authors.

However, in this book, the author chooses areas in Canada, specifically, Prince Edward Island, to captivate us. Fortune describes the scenery in such a way that I actually had to look it up and decided I needed to pay a visit.

Based in an amazing setting such as this, it’s hard not to fall in love with the story, but also the amazing characters that are built around this magical place.

Felix, who my heart sings for, is one character that makes me swoon. His love shines through the words and I love the way these two characters are together. I love who they are and the chemistry between them is off the charts.

But with all of that comes a big dilemma, who they are to each other and rules that must be broken to be together. Heartbreaking and crushing in places; sexy, dreamy, and fun in others. This book delivers a breathless romance for the ages.

For an amazing summer story that will leave your heart singing, you have got to pick up This Summer Will Be Different. It is the perfect romance and Felix is your perfect book boyfriend.

So much love for this book and this author. Sigh… I want to read it over again already.
