Spring is one of my favorite seasons. Everything is fresh and new. We sometimes get rain here in Northern California. This year we did pretty well, not as much as last year but enough to give the grass, the trees, and the plants a good drink.
I also love spring because I have a great yard that bursts with color in the spring. I have blooming plants that come Into bloom in stages. So today I was out checking the sprinklers and noticed so many of my roses were in bloom.
I’m not a huge rose fan typically but I ended up with an lovely array of beautiful roses in my front yard along with daylilies, blooming shrubs, and even some flowering garlic. Below are just a few examples of the beautiful blooms I am getting this season.
Do you love to garden? I have set up mine so that it takes care of itself, for the most part. I don’t have to do much except deadhead a few times and do some cutting back here and there. Especially with my climbing rose. That tends to go wild. My long stem Rose is going a little crazy too.
I hope your garden is growing way you envision it this year.
