Last year I realized my health was not going in the direction I needed it to so I took control and started my healthy changes by juicing. Most people I speak to think that a fresh juice is bitter or they just cannot get past the green color of the juice. I think they correlate the green with bad taste.
So I try and let as many people I can taste my concoctions and they are surprised at how “not bad” the taste really is. So it is for them that I like to post my recipes and share my juicing experience here on this site.
Today I want to share this easy juice blend that will add a bit of brightness to your taste buds. A blend of many greens but also a bit of fruit too.
Spinach Green Juice with Strawberry
Ingredients:
carrot
celery
cucumber
parsley
spinach
fresh strawberries that I froze
a splash of orange juice
filtered water
Directions:
Blend together all items in a nutribullet type devise or juice them in a juicer for a great taste!
The frozen strawberries will make it nice and cold, perfect for a warm day. The orange juice gives it a bit of additional flavor so I get a little bit of the strawberry/orange taste. Plus, the juice helps cut the bitterness the parsley can have.
The taste is good and hit many of the nutrients my body needs.
I hope you give this recipe a try! enjoy!
