One of the best things about flavored waters is that you can create the best cocktail and beverage recipes with them! With the simplicity of just a few ingredients that you may already have on hand, you can enjoy a delicious beverage anytime or whip up a pitcher for a crowd.
This weekend is the Kentucky Derby and that calls for a celebration, especially if you are from the South! I love sharing recipes from Sparkling ICE, a lightly carbonated, zero-calorie beverage which combines sparkling water, fruit juice, vitamins, antioxidants, and BOLD flavors perfect for cocktail mixing. They come up with some awesome recipes that taste great!

Peach & Mint Jockey Julep Recipe
Ingredients:
· 1.25 ounces Bourbon
· 2 ounces Sparkling Ice Peach Lemonade
· 6 Mint leaves
· Half a Peach
Instructions:
1. Muddle mint and peach in highball glass*
2. Add crushed ice, bourbon and Sparkling Ice Peach Lemonade
3. Stir ingredients thoroughly
*(If possible, muddle mint and peach, add bourbon and leave overnight in fridge)
Lemonade Leaderboard Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients:
· 1.25 ounces Anejo Tequila
· 4 muddled Basil leaves
· 1 teaspoon Agave Syrup
· 2 ounces Sparkling Ice Lemonade
Instructions:
1. Shake and pour over ice into highball glass
2. Top with Sparkling Ice Lemonade
3. Garnish with basil leaf
Peach Preakness Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients:
· 1.5 ounces Bourbon
· 1 ounce St Germain
· 3 ounces Sparkling Ice Peach Iced Tea
· 5 blackberries
Instructions:
1. Muddle blackberries in shaker
2. Add ice, whiskey and St. Germain
3. Shake and pour (do not strain) into highball glass
4. Top with Sparkling Ice Peach Ice Tea.
Triple Crown Iced Tea Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients:
· 2 bottles Sparkling Ice Half & Half Tea, divided
· 3 stalks lemongrass, plus extra for garnish
· 1” x 2” piece of fresh ginger, peeled, chopped
· Ice
· Lemon slices, optional
Instructions:
1. Add one bottle of Sparkling Ice Half & Half tea to small saucepan.
2. Discard the driest, outer leaves of lemongrass stalks. Using flat side of knife, bruise lemongrass. Slice meatier part of lemongrass, halfway up stalk. Discard the rest.
3. Add lemongrass and ginger to saucepan. Bring to boil for 2 minutes.
4. Turn heat to medium and simmer for 10 minutes. Allow to cool for 1 hour.
For more pronounced flavor, allow herbs to continue steeping overnight in fridge.
5. Strain herbs from liquid.
6. Add liquid to a pitcher. Add remaining bottle of Sparkling Ice Half & Half Tea to pitcher and stir.
7. Pour over ice. If desired, garnish with lemongrass stalk and lemon slice.
