I have many go-to authors when it comes to getting a great contemporary romance read. Skye Warren is one of those authors that always gives consistent, well thought out, and unique stories that just suck you in all the way though.

This month she is releasing a new story I was pleased to be able to read and review for you. Part one of a series, this does end on a cliffhanger!! UGH! Read my thoughts below.

This book… how to even start.

This book is loaded with super high and super hot sexual tension and anticipation right from the beginning. It is a May/December story of a forbidden desire and a love so deep, it is fraught with near painful feelings and images.

Liam believes he does not deserve love. Samantha is dying for a glimpse of love in her stark existence. Together they know a deep love but cannot, should not, and will not share that love… or will they?

Skye Warren gives us a story rich with emotional roller coasters that will frustrate the hell out of you. But can you put it down? Hell no!

You need to know the secrets holding him back. You have to experience the deep care and concern for Samantha and the hidden love he shares. There is more to the story than what she thinks she knows…

You have to read this book, even though it ends of a cliffy of sorts. UGH!

So much anticipation. So dang hot! Killing me…
