I was first introduced to this author earlier in the year with her new release that just published the other day. A fun rom-com and was a sexy little number, I was looking forward to the same with this book review.
Coming up in June, this story is a second chance at love trope and a great beach read for the summer!

- ABOUT
NEVER SAY NEVER
Sadie Gold is ready to take her career to the next level with the role of a lifetime. Finally, she can shake her reputation as a pretty face with more wealth and connections than talent. But Sadie is not prepared for the wild turn her own life is about to take. The man in charge of training Sadie for her most demanding role yet is none other than her first real boyfriend—the one who took her heart and ran away.
WHEN IT COMES TO LOVE
Bo Ibarra is as good-looking and irresistible as ever. Maybe even more so, now that everything once worked against them—Sadie’s pampered and privileged upbringing and Bo’s childhood in a family struggling to make ends meet—is in the past. But the future is still unwritten…and getting there, together, means coming clean about painful secrets and slashing through nasty tabloid rumors while trying to control the attraction that crackles between them. Maybe it’s finally time for them to walk off into the sunset and into a true and lasting love?
Once Upon a Bad Boy by Melonie Johnson Review
I have to admit, I had a bit of a love/irritation moments with this book. I loved a lot of it. But there were some factors that I did not care for too.
Bo – Definitely a great character. Hot, sexy, and so in love with Sadie. But he had problems as a teen and reasons for letting her go.
Sadie – I actually enjoyed Sadie’s character quite a bit. She is a great match for him and cares for him deeply. However, the author chose to have her do something that I have a huge problem with and without any spoilers, let’s just say that conversation is a huge plus.
There were also a few instances that really bothers me about her relationship with Bo’s sister. Plus, there was a something going on years ago that was never developed and that bugged me too.
Johnson is an awesome story teller and knows how to write the sexy reads we love. This story has all of the earmarks of a fabulous read, but I got caught up in some nagging details that I could not let go.
Overall, this book is perfect for anyone that loves the second chance romance storyline. Sweet, hot, and dreamy! I rate it 3.5 stars.
