It is a funny thing when you become addicted to a series. You don’t realize how much you miss the story when you have to wait for the next book to be released.
This series has managed to almost stress me out! The readers, me included, have been waiting for almost a year for the next book! I was so thrilled to be able to review it early! OMG!!!! You are going to flip for this one!

If there is one that I have to say about this book is make sure to read or re-read Lover Unveiled first. Oh my goodness, there is so much going on and tied together with that story, it really should be fresh in your mind.
With that, this story was simply put – amazing. There is no other author like Ward.
She manages to keep you surprised at every turn. Lover Arisen is dark, raw, and shocking at times. It is tough to read about Angels and Evil in the same book, fighting for the ultimate prize. The deep connections between characters are intense and in some ways calming, knowing that someone will be there for you.
The simmering heat between Baltz and Erika is slow to grow but yet it is an immediate and strong connection that built in intensity throughout the story. Sexy and hot; these two are definitely fire.
The ending is so heartbreaking and sets up the next book. Can I wait months again for the continuation? Dang it! Do not miss Lover Arisen! So damn good!
