A few weeks ago I shared with you some of my pictures regarding my kitchen remodel and the start pictures. I am finally getting some progress updates and movement with my kitchen!
Who knew it would be such a process? The salespeople said it would be a breeze. Guess what?? They fibbed! LOL
Well, one of the first things I have to share is the counter install. This actually became a 2-month process because the ones they delivered looked NOTHING like what I ordered from so back to the negotiation process and the ordering process. OMGGGGG
Here are some image updates for you.
Kitchen Remodel Updates – Counter Install
To start, all of the counters were stripped. I was able to save some money by having a handyman do that labor. The installers of the counters wanted about $500 more! Yikes! I can do a lot with that kind of cash – like buy a new sink and fabulous faucet!
Here are the lovely counters that were not what I ordered. I was stuck with these for about 6 weeks or so. Pretty granite, but they would not go with my cabinets. Ick! What I ordered was a minimal white pattern. So not this!
Here is the final install of the counters. This is a Quartz product and I am in love with it! I love the lines and the pattern! Plus you can see my sink and faucet in this one! Both by Delta, I am in love with them! Weird, I know…. Below this is the island. So pretty!
My cabinets are scheduled to be installed next week! I’ll update you with the pictures. I am excited and can not wait to be able to use my kitchen at full capacity again!
