I connected with an author last year when she reached out and asked me to review her book. Turns out it was a good decision for me to to do as I thoroughly enjoyed that story.

Fast forward to today and I am excited to bring you another one of her stories. Torke writes in the historical romance Genre but hers are not a typical story that we are used to seeing in the past. In her books she doesn’t hold back so be prepared for the heat and sizzle.

I find it fascinating that authors have the ability to just craft these stories with unique twists that just suck me in.

The story is loaded with heat and innuendo from our dark brooding hero who just doesn’t want to admit he’s fallen head over heels.

Our heroine is just as bad. She cannot say no to him even though she tries. These two have a connection that sparks and fires up every time you turn the page.

Definitely not your mama’s historical romance! This author knows how to turn up the notches and take a seemingly innocent and clean romance genre (ha) and turn it into a scorching story you can’t get enough of.

If you have not read a book by this author, you seriously need to! So refreshing and not a main stream story!
