Spring is showing up early here in California. With gorgeous mild weather, the trees and flowers just don’t know what to do. The almonds have already bloomed, about 4 weeks early, and everything is turning green. I keep thinking that we are going to have another cold snap, but so far it hasn’t happened.
One good thing about spring coming early is that I have the itch to get my flowering beds going. The weekend we are saying goodbye to the old and bringing in the new. I have two trees coming out and one new one going in. Plus I have some pretty plants that will finally go around my pool in hopes that they live… Things tend to die there but my fingers are crossed!

I cannot wait till these are in! A lovely combination of Hawthorne, Mock Orange, Society Garlic, English Daisy and a Bridal Wreath. I am so excited!
What plans do you have for your yard this spring??
