Eating low carb doesn’t always mean eating meat every day. Sometimes we have to take a break from meats and choose to eat meatless a few times a week. Doing that can not only help keep your budget intact, but it is heart healthy too.
I was thinking about all of the different low carb meatless meals that I tend to gravitate to and came up with a list that you can try by searching for the recipes online. Eggs are a go-to favorite of this family. I love omelets anytime and my quiche is a delicious yet easy recipe that you can do too. It works really well without a crust and it is so good.
Soups are super easy to whip up meatless and the ones I listed are full of flavor. Eggplant is delicious when grilled and baked as well as roasted veggies and kabobs. So good with some seasoning and perfect for summer grilling!
Salads are a great addition to a meatless meal and so easy to throw together on a busy night. Make a yummy pizza to go with it and you have a great meal where the meat is not even missed!
