I have had the opportunity to read and review several of the MC books by Chantal Fernando plus others in the romance genre. What I enjoy about them most is that while some of the characters are interrelated, you can absolutely read these as standalone‘s.
This new release I devoured in a day and I have to say, I absolutely fell for Crow. Plus, we are getting treated to a brand new series! Read on for my review.

ABOUT:
After losing her job, saying goodbye to a lifelong dream, and having an all-around cruddy year, Bronte Pierce needs a break. A job at Fast & Fury might be just the thing to reset her life, even though she knows nothing about custom motorcycles. But taking a job isn’t the same as keeping it, and her fresh start quickly turns into a fresh nightmare.
Starting with her boss. Crow is hardheaded, stubborn, and brutally honest. He may be easy on the eyes, but he runs with an MC and he’s anything but friendly to Bronte. She suspects he has a softer side—just not for her.
Her whole life, Bronte has known that the only person she can truly count on to save the day is herself. But when a single murder turns into a conspiracy and the threat to her life is more than she can handle alone, it’s Crow who comes through—and her newfound family might just become her greatest strength.
Custom Built by Chantal Fernando Review
This book seemed a little tamer than the others I have read in that we actually are seeing the characters in a place of business. The Knights are not stirring up too many issues but are definitely showing their true colors with their protectiveness and love for each other.
I just really got a different vibe from this book than some of the other ones but I love the change. This book focused more on the issues and relationships between Crow and Bronte than the actual running of the club with attached relationships.
Custom Built is unique with a bit of a suspense twist that was not expected. It keeps the interest high and the flow of the story moving nicely. And as always, the club members are well in tune with each other, fun and friendships connect, and the support is amazing.
This book is between a novella and a full-size story. It flows nicely, has an amazing connection between Crow and Bronte, with hot and steamy spice that will fire you up! Fernando kicks off this new series in a big way!
